Stamford Park Boating Lake

We are considering a visit to the boating lake where we may well re-enact the Men O' War film! Sailor costumes and hats would be great. A film would be shot and placed on this site.

UPDATE I have passed the boating lake on numerous occasions at the weekend and it has not been open. I have enquired with Tameside Council and it opens on an ad-hoc basis if the weather is good!!! This makes it impossible to plan in advance, we may have to go at short notice.
